Not Every Chapter Is Dramatic.
On settling in, starting over and trusting the process.

Hey Reset Fam,
I have to be honest with you. I’ve been a little quiet lately. Not because anything is wrong. Actually, quite the opposite.
I moved to a new state. I’m meeting new people. I’m settling into a new home, a new city, a new chapter. And somewhere in all of that newness, the words just didn’t come the way they usually do.
So, I've been quiet. Uninspired with content. Because I've been too busy actually LIVING to write about it. And honestly? That's okay.
Also, I realized something. Sometimes the most profound reset isn’t a practice or a habit. Sometimes it’s just life, showing up for yourself in ways you didn’t expect. And all you have to do is receive it.
Here’s what this season is teaching me.
Alignment is real. When you make decisions that are truly in line with who you are and where you’re going, life responds. Doors open. People show up. Things fall into place in ways you couldn’t imagine.
I’ve learned that alignment feels different in your body than settling does. That your gut has never actually lied to you. You’ve just been too scared to listen. That showing up for yourself is not selfish. It’s necessary. That the things that scare you the most are usually the things most worth doing.
Trusting your gut is everything. That quiet voice that said go. I listened. And I’m so glad I did.
And leaning into fear? That’s where the good stuff lives.
When Nike said “Just Do It” they were onto something. Because sometimes the most profound thing you can do is stop overthinking, stop waiting, stop planning and just go. Just move. Just trust.
I did. And this season is the proof.
Here’s your reset this week:
Name one thing in your life that feels aligned.
Name one thing that feels like settling.
Now ask yourself, what would it look like to do something about the second one?
You don’t have to have all the answers. You just have to be honest with yourself. You don’t have to move states. You just have to move. 😄
We are all in different seasons. Come share yours in Queer.Reset: https://www.skool.com/queerreset/about
1% better everyday.
With intention,
