You Were Heard. Every Truth You Shared.

Hey Reset Fam,

In August 2025 I posted the following on Threads:

“Queer people, tell me something straight people will never understand about your queer experience.”

I didn’t know what to expect. What I got changed me.

200,000 views. 2,000 likes. 1,000 comments. Real people. Real experiences. Real pain. Real joy. Real truth.

And this past week it blew up all over again, which tells me everything I need to know. This conversation isn’t over. It was never over.

But behind those numbers are real people. Real experiences. Real truths that deserved to be spoken and deserved to be heard.

What I read in those comments expressed every emotion.

Joy. Pain. Relief. Exhaustion. Anger. Hope. Humor. Grief.

Some of you shared experiences you’ve never said out loud before. Some of you found yourself in someone else’s words for the very first time. Some of you simply needed to know that someone was asking — that someone actually wanted to know.

I wanted to know. I still do.

This is why safe spaces matter. This is why community matters. This is why we keep showing up for each other.
